About Steve Mynett

Steve Mynett is a photographer who has been documenting predominantly live jazz concerts in Vancouver since 2005. Building on his background as a professional musician he combines an intricate knowledge of what is happening on stage with a musical understanding that helps him anticipate and capture unique moments on stage.

In his career he has shot over 70 Albums, predominantly for Cellar Live Records, and his work has been featured in most civic and national news papers including The National Post, The Province and The Vancouver Sun and magazines including McLeans and Coda Magazine. He has been nominated three times for The Canadian National Jazz Awards.
